National Monument or better known as Monas monument or a memorial at 132 meters (433 feet), which was built to commemorate the resistance and struggle of the people of Indonesia to win independence from Dutch colonial rule. Establishment of this monument began on August 17, 1961 under the administration of president Soekarno, and opened to the public on July 12, 1975. The highlight of the monument include flame coated gold leaf as a symbol of the fighting spirit that continues to flare. National Monument is located right in the center of Merdeka Square , Central Jakarta. Monas is one of the favorite tourist attractions society and open every day starting at 8:00 to 15.00 pm. On the last mont is closed to the public.

The building itself was originally a private home a French citizen who was built in the 19th century. It was then purchased by the Turkish consul named Abdul Aziz Al Katiri Almusawwi who live and stay in Indonesia. Furthermore, 1942 was sold to Dr. Karel Christian Cruq. In the struggle for Indonesian independences, the building was once the headquarters of the Barisan Keamanan Rakyat (BKR) and in 1947 occupied by Lie Sion Pin. In 1952 was bought by Ministry of Social Affairs and on October 25, 1975 given to the Jakarta Government and then on June 28, 1976 was officially opened as the Museum of Textiles.

Sunda Kelapa is the name of the port and surrounding places in Jakarta. This port is located in the village Penjaringan, Penjaringan subdistrict, North Jakarta. Even today Sunda Kelapa just the name of one port in Jakarta, the area is very crucial because the village arround the port of Sunda Kelapa is the forerunner of the city that determined his birthday on June 22, 1527. At that time Kalapa, his real name, is a royal port Pajajaran capital in Pakuan ( now Bogor ), which was captured by the troops of Demak and Cirebon. Although the anniversary of the city was inaugurated in the 16th century, the history of sunda Kelapa had begun much earlier, namely in Pajajaran era predecessors, the Kingdom Tarumanagara. Tarumanagara Kingdom have also experienced attack and conquest by kingdom of Sriwijaya of Sumatra. Currently Sunda Kelapa Harbor Jakarta is a tourist spot that is not less exciting especially for shooting objects.

Jakarta Kota Railways Station, also known as Beos Station is the largest train station in Indonesia with old age in sub pinangsia, the old city. The station is one of the few stations in Indonesia with the kind of terminus ( end of travel ) , which does not have the advanced track. In fact, this station has been inaugurated as a cultural heritage, because in addition to ancient building, the station is unique as the destination station last trip. 22. Taman Suropati

Suropati Park ( Originally named Burgemeester Bisschopplein ) is the name of a park in Jakarta. At first the name of the park is immortalized on the name of the Mayor ( Burgemeester ) Batavia was first G.J. Bisshop (1916-1920). This park is the centerof Menteng, is located exactly between the confluence of three major roads namely Menteng Boulevard ( Jl. Teuku Umar ) , Orange Boulevard ( Jl. Diponegoro ) and Nassau Boulevard ( Jl. Imam Bonjol ). Initially shaped hill, then dismantled and some land transferred to Jl. Besuki. Area field began planting trees and flowers since 1920. The field, now called Suropati Park since 1920 has replaced the vast circular field Moojen Plan. Suropati cool garden, started  a few years ago equipped with the object sculptures by sculptors from all ASEAN countries. This park is one of the favorite choice of people to tourist attractions in Central Jakarta holiday to just relax and exercise.

23. Gedung Fatahillah

Fatahillah Museum, known as the Jakarta History Museum or Batavia Museum is a museum located in Jalan Taman Fatahillah No. 2 West Jakarta with an area of over 1.300 square meters. This building used to be a City Hall ( Dutch : Stadhuis ) which was established in 1707 to 1710 by order of Governor General Johan van Hoorn. The building was similar to the Dam Palace in Amsterdam, there is a main room equipped with two wings on the east and west as well sanding the building used as an office, court rooms, and underground spaces area used as a prison. On March 30, 1974, the building was designated as Fatahillah Museum.
